Daniel and I were just friends for a long time before we started dating! We spent a lot of time together because I became good friends with both of his sisters. Over time we both realized we wanted to be more than friends!

Daniel and I drove up into the mountains together to take our first nice pictures together. I set up my camera on a tripod and we hiked through the aspens!

Daniel turned 29 this year, and we were able to celebrate his birthday for the first time together.

We were able to visit Daniel's family back in California a few months after starting dating. Everyone was very excited!

The holidays this year were so special. Daniel and I went with Paul, Vienna, and Emily to buy our first Christmas tree together! We decorated it at his house, and it was perfect.

A while later, we celebrated my 21st birthday! In between lots of classes, homework, and tests, we went out with family for dinner.

We had been planning to get married for a while, but my ring took a while to arrive. The long-awaited time finally came, and Daniel proposed. It was a crazy and magical day, and we are both so incredibly happy!
